Well we have been making progress. Siena doesn't run under the deck quite as fast as she used to. She meows at me sometimes and sometimes stays on the deck when I come out to talk to her, but she only let's me come as close as the far end.
With all the rain we've had I put a folded up Shamwa at the entrance to her den to sop up some of the water. I had to reach in just a little to smooth it down and she swatted me! No claws extended though! Boy was I surprise.
So today I saw the dog bed I had put aside to give away. It was just too small for Jinxie, so I thought, hum, with all the rain, the yard is so wet that I'd put it on the deck and see what happens! As you can see it worked!!
Haven't tried to go outside yet, thought I'd give her some comfy time! Each little step is worth a thousand smiles!!!
