Well, it's happened. Barnum and Bailey have entered the destructive stage. We are lucky that they are angels in the house having learned the boundries but outside in our backyard it is whole other story. I had decided that the backyard should be a 'rule free' area for them to just do their thing....what could happen right? Our once nicely landscaped yard looks like a disaster zone from the huge holes dug to our least favorite.....uprooted/eaten plants, srubs, bambo plants and even a small tree. I'll have to take some pictures of the little devils....they have grown so beautiful and their personalities are hilarious. They are complete opposites but have a wonderful bond with each other and the rest of the family. Barnum is challenging our Jack Russel for alpha role (not going to happen) and he is HIGHLY intelligent and so loving. I never had a dog so smart. Bailey is 'special'. We suspect maybe he went without oxygen being born or something (not kidding). He is oh so sweet. He is a jolly clown and so loving too. I regret not teaching them backyard etiquette from the start because I have a dozen indoor plants in pots on the floor and they NEVER bother them. It just took one stern 'no' when they were babies. Oh well, we are thankful for the little devils!
