This a list of Great Danes available through Great Dane Rescue. This is not a complete list and anyone of these dogs may be currently in the process of being adopted. Once officially adopted, the adopted dog's story and picture is then moved to our Success Stories page.
This page is provided for the public to learn about and see some of the danes currently available from our group. We do not list all information about each dog on this page. Do not expect to pick a Dane's picture or description off of this website and immediately adopt it. A Great Dane Rescue representative will guide your choice towards a dane who is best suited for your particular household situation and expectations (especially if you have other dogs, cats or small children). The dog in the picture might simply not be the dog for you. If you are interested in adopting a Great Dane, please follow the procedures listed in our Services section of this website.

Merilee's foster mom reports that this sweet girl loves to ride in cars - and unlike some other Danes (who shall remain nameless), she doesn't insist on driving!

Zoe's foster mom writes: "She is such a wonderful dog. Very gentle. Her favorite things are being petted, sleeping on the grass in the sun, playing with her foster sister Trixie and eating anything in sight. She especially likes apples and dried plums (ok prunes but it just sounds better to say dried plums). We learned very quickly not to leave anything edible on the counter as she has made counter surfing into a fine art!"

Ogden is a sweet guy who loves to play. He is great with kids and LOVES to be around them. He might be a bit rough around the edges for toddlers though.
PUPPY. Brooke is very energetic and LOVES to play. She is a bit more energetic than other danes puppies, but with some training and a great forever home, this girl will be your companion for life. She really loves people and toys. She likes to eat things. Mainly toys, so keep a close eye on her when playing or you might be missing a sock or two!!!
