You are probably aware that we are living in a much more environmentally conscious world today. Carbon Credits and organic vegetables are now common topics of conversation around the water cooler and there are more hybrid vehicles on the road than ever before.

With that in mind, Great Dane Rescue of North Texas would like to introduce you to the ultimate form of recycling: Choosing to adopt an abandoned animal rather than buy a brand new puppy from a backyard breeder.

Just think about it – if a plastic water bottle or a piece of discarded paper can get a new life in the form of a recycled product, why shouldn't a living, breathing animal get a second chance too?

Here at Great Dane Rescue of North Texas, we are very proud that in the last seven years we've helped over ONE THOUSAND Great Danes get another chance at great life.

So this year's DaneFest T-shirt is a simple reminder for our adopters and supporters that they are the pre-eminent recyclers.

These shirts will be for sale at DaneFest, but you can order yours in advance (which is important if we sell out) when you pre-register for DaneFest 2008.
